关于本会

简介

本会创立于一九四五年九月二日，斯时附於本坡中国街福建会馆为办事处，直至一九七零年，始移至巴耶街四十六号三楼。

一九七一年倡议兴建大厦，逐在市中心Jalan Batas Baru购得一段地，於同年成立建厦委员会，并得到各方响应与支持，一座富丽堂皇四层楼高的会所终於在一九七六年建成

本会于 一九九四年【 登 嘉 楼 中 华 总 商 会 】改名为  【 登 嘉 楼 中 华 工 商 总 会 】

 二零一一年改名为  【 登 嘉 楼 中 华 总 商 会 】

本会宗旨 ：
  • 促进及维护会员在商业，工业农业及其他企业。经济活动 方面的权益及发展。
  • 在各造同意下协助会员或公众人士调解纠纷。
  • 促进与政府或其他机构或团体的联系与合作。
  • 与其他具有共同宗旨的合法注册团体或机构合作。
  • 进行本会认为适当的各种商业、投资或联营计划。
  • 举办商展、工商考察团、工商及人力资源培训课程、 研讨会或讲座会。
  • 促进与发展资讯、通讯工艺。

In Brief

Terengganu Chinese Chamber of Commerce was founded on 2nd September, 1945. The office was first situated at the Hock Kian Association, Jalan Kampong China, Kuala Terengganu. It was then moved to No : 46, 2nd Floor, Jalan Paya Bunga, Kuala Terengganu in 1970.

In 1971, The Chamber initiated the plan to construct its own premise. A piece of land located along Jalan Batas Baru, Kuala Terengganu was acquired and a Building Sub-Committee was formed during the same year. With the support of the members and the public, the construction of four storey building was completed in 1976.

In 1994, the Chamber changed its name from :-

[ TERENGGANU CHINESE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ]  to

[ TERENGGANU CHINESE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY ]

OBJECTIVES :-
  • To promote and work for the protection and advancement of members in the fields of commerce, industries, agriculture and others enterprises
  • To arbitrate and settle disputes among its members and members of the public if invited to do so.
  • To promote better understanding and co-operation with the governments, statutory bodies and other organisations.
  • To work in co-operation with public bodies and other organisations having objects similar to those of the Chamber.
  • To carry out or promote business schemes, undertakings or joint ventures which the Chamber deems fit.
  • To organise trade missions and exhibitions, human resources, Industrial and commercial courses or seminars.
  • To promote and encourage the development of information and communication technology.
